— About · The Discipline Layer for AI
We don’t sell AI. We sell the discipline that makes it pay.

— Why we exist
Most AI fails before a single model runs.
For 30 years we implemented the systems that ran the Fortune 500 — ERP, quality platforms, business intelligence, workflow automation — inside IBM, Ernst & Young, Johnson & Johnson, and McKesson. We watched the same pattern repeat: companies bolt new technology onto a broken process and call it transformation.
AI raises the stakes. Automate a broken workflow and you get a faster broken workflow. Feed an agent ungoverned data and it produces confident nonsense at scale. Win the model and lose the market because no one can find you in the answer engines.
So we don’t lead with the model. We lead with the discipline — the problem definition, the governed context, and the growth engine that turn AI from a science project into a line on the income statement. Problem and people first, then technology.
— The three pillars
Three disciplines. One working agent.
Every engagement strengthens one or more of the three foundations AI needs to actually earn its keep. They are sold as fixed-scope MVPs and they converge on the same place: AI doing real work, in production.
Pillar 01 · Problem
AIMSolve
Fix the workflow before you automate the chaos. We find the real root-cause lever, scope the smallest valuable problem, and ship a production-ready MVP — not a slide deck.
Pillar 02 · Data
AIMContext
Give AI the data, domain expertise, and guardrails it needs to do real work. Governed context, retrieval, and the controls that keep an agent honest in front of customers.
Pillar 03 · Growth
AIMGrowth
Win visibility, trust, and demand in the AI-answer economy. AEO and GEO so you get cited — not skipped — when buyers ask the machine instead of the search bar.
Problem · Context · Growth → a working agent that shows up on the P&L.
— What makes us different
Operators, not slideware.
We pair four decades of problem-solving craft — First Principles, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, TRIZ — with hands-on AI engineering. The methods are old and proven; the technology is new and fast. The discipline is the bridge.
People-first change leadership. Proven organizational change methods, because adoption — not the demo — is where AI lives or dies.
Root-cause before automation. We map current state, find the lever, and only then point technology at it.
Governed by default. Data, domain expertise, and guardrails built in — not patched on after an incident.
Fixed scope, named outcomes. 90 days, a defined deliverable, and a 60-Day Ship Guarantee on every Sprint.
Deep, regulated-industry expertise. Healthcare, pharma, med-device, manufacturing, supply chain, and edtech.
— The founders
Two builders. One standard.
President & Co-Founder
Frank “Rio” Shines
An award-winning business and technology consultant with Ernst & Young, Pilgrim Quality Solutions, and IBM, and a former VP at CCS Medical. Frank earned a Presidential Appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he captained NCAA men’s gymnastics and trained alongside Olympic hopefuls, and flew Air Force jets.
He co-created the SmartSolve enterprise quality platform — one of the first enterprise systems built on MS.NET — holds a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and is the author of four books, including AI or Die: The Caveman’s Visual Guide to AI for Everyone (2025) and The Controller’s Function (Wiley, 2000). He serves as family spokesperson for the Colorado College Stroud Scholars and is producing the documentary Running to Harvard and RACE, the Opera.
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Umer Qureshi
Umer leads the technology and analytics practice — the IT and data-driven services that turn strategy into shipped systems for Analytics AIML clients. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is trained and self-taught across several programming languages.
He runs the firm’s AEO/GEO content engine and agentic-AI builds, and co-authored AI or Die. Outside the work, Umer mentors and inspires at-risk youth.
— Who we serve
Built for process-driven industries.
We work with process innovators, owners, and operators who can no longer treat AI as optional — in sectors where getting it wrong is expensive and getting it right compounds.
Healthcare & Life Sciences
Pharma, med-device, biologics, labs, and hospitals — where compliance and patient outcomes ride on the process.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain
Operations where throughput, quality, and resilience decide the margin.
Technology & EdTech
Teams scaling content, data, and AI capability without scaling headcount.
— Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Before you reach out.
What exactly do you sell?
Fixed-scope AI engagements that strengthen one of three foundations — problem definition (AIMSolve), governed data and context (AIMContext), or AI-era demand (AIMGrowth) — each shipped as a production-ready MVP.
How fast do you ship?
MVPs run 1–2 weeks at the module level; full engagements are scoped at 90 days with named outcomes. Every Sprint carries a 60-Day Ship Guarantee.
Why “discipline” and not “AI”?
Because the model is the easy part. Most AI fails on the problem, the data, or the demand around it. We sell the discipline that closes those gaps — the part that actually pays.
Do you only work in regulated industries?
That’s our deep bench — healthcare, pharma, manufacturing, supply chain — but the AIM-IT method applies anywhere a broken process is hiding under a shiny tool.
— Start with the problem
Tell us where AI is stuck. We’ll find the lever.
A focused diagnostic to locate the real constraint — problem, data, or demand — and the fastest path to a working agent.
